OAKMONT COMMUNITY SWAMP RATS SWIM TEAM
Swamp Water Aquatics Gainesville is excited to announce we will be partnering with the Oakmont Neighborhood once again for the Swamp Rats Swim team this spring.
This is a Developmental Swim Team to focus on form and technique for all 4 competitive swim strokes as well as starts and turns. We promise to make it a challenging, but FUN environment for all.
MAXIMUM of 24 swimmers per group and limited to Oakmont resident only. Ages 5+.
When:
Tuesdays and Thursdays.
March 29th through May 26th
*May 26th will be a swim meet
Ages:
Junior Swamp Rats (based on ability level) practice from 3:45-4:30, Must be able to confidently swim 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke and also have had prior instructions.
Senior Swamp Rats (based on ability level) practice from 4:30-5:30, must be able to swim 50 yards of freestyle, backstroke, and breastroke with some proficiency.
The groups will be formed by the coach’s discretion based on ability level, and maturity to listen to directions. If swimmers sign up and can’t meet these requirements, private or group lessons will be recommended.
Equipment Needed:
Swim fins and goggles the Finis Floating Fin or TYR Color Fin are required.
Cost:
$220 per Junior Swamp Rat and $250 per Senior Swamp Rat for the 9 week program.
(includes a team swim cap), requires immediate payment via PayPal or contact us for other arrangements.
