Swamp Water Aquatics Gainesville is excited to announce we will be partnering with Gainesville Country Club once again this summer. We will be offering private and small group swim lesson and coaching services from age 3 to Adult.
We are excited to be offering our 3rd season of “Swamp Rats Summer Swim Team”.
This is a team for ages 5 to 16. The only requirement is that swimmers must be able to complete 25 yards continuously. All swimmers must purchase a pair of swim fins. This is a great opportunity for young athletes to learn the four competitive strokes in a fun and friendly environment.
Programs Offered
SWAMP RATS Summer
Swim Team
Session One: (June 3th-June 28th), practices are M/W from 4-5 p.m.
Session One Meet is Friday, June 28th
Session Two: (July 8th – August 2nd), practices are M/W from 4-5 p.m.
Session Two Meet is Friday, August 2nd
Cost: $120 per 4-week session OR both sessions for $215
(includes a t-shirt and swim cap), 5% discount for GCC members.
LEARN TO SWIM CLASSES
Level One: This is age 3-7, some or no prior formal instruction, may be a bit timid in the water. Focus for this group is comfort in the water and readiness to move to Level 2.
Maximum of 3 students to 1 instructor.
Session One: (6/3-26), M and W from 5-5:30
Session Two: (7/8-7/31), M and W from 5-5:30
Cost: $125 per swimmer
Level Two: This is a 30-minute class with a maximum of 4 students to 1 instructor. These swimmers feel comfortable in the water, but have not mastered any of the strokes. The goal for this group is to prepare them for The Swamp Rats Team.
Session One: (6/3-26), M and W 5:30-6 p.m.
Session Two: (7/8-7/31), M and W 5:30- 6 p.m
Cost: $120 per swimmer
Private Lessons
$30 per 30-minute private lesson
(can be 2 kids or adults of equal level for $40)
In a private lesson a family can request that certain skills be worked on to suit the individual needs of a child. We require that at least four private lessons be booked when beginning lessons. You can schedule private lessons once or twice a week.
